The new MMX Carbon Intake Kit brings a full 3K twill carbon fibre construction to the BMW G8x M2, M3 and M4, replacing the factory airbox with something built for real gains, not just looks. Every kit is hand-laid in 3K twill carbon fibre, with zero fibreglass in the layup. That means a smoother internal surface as well as a sharper, more premium finish, cutting turbulence and improving the path of air into the engine.
The numbers speak for themselves. Filter surface area is up 49% over the stock unit, and the intake pipes see an average 23% increase in air flow volume, with the crossover pipe seeing a 38% gain and the turbo side pipe up 7%. The result is a sharper throttle response and improved turbo spool.
The induction sound is more noticeable too, giving the car a more engaging character without affecting everyday drivability.
Hardware is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminium, and everything needed for installation is included in the box. It's a straightforward bolt-on fit for the G8x M2, M3 and M4, with no permanent modifications required.
