We all know that G-Series M-Cars come with a fairly substantial 6-pot brake setup straight from the factory. Whilst the stock calliper works well, the same can’t be said for the discs. The factory 380mm drilled discs certainly look the part but soon show their flaws with some spirted or on-track driving.
Utilising a two-piece 380mm x 36mm floating design allows our disc and hat to expand radially and axially as they absorb heat generated from use, avoiding the most common cause of warping and cracking seen in single-piece discs. Due to the efficiency of this design, MMR discs last considerably longer than factory discs. The friction surface features our trademark groves that increase bite and remove debris from the pad surface giving the perfect balance between brake feel and longevity.
Our centre hat is crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminium. Our grooved discs are constructed from CM-250 high carbon alloy cast iron that can withstand immense braking temperatures while holding form. Our discs also utilise 72 directionally curved vanes to forcefully flow cool air through the rotor to dissipate heat.
Our 380mm discs/rotors run up to 30% cooler than OE.
